HK Messiah Clone Test w/US V3 GH006

I have been testing these HK Messiah 2 clones from console corner, i have installed them on US v7's so far. They seem to work well. I have had 2 red screens with while trying to boot 10 dvd-r's. All other disc's, PS2 & PSX backups and originals work fine. Only problem i had was that i needed to put a capacitor (1uf-50v) between SCEx pad to take care of DVD movie playback, originals and backups. If this was ommitted then the movies would be VERY choppy.

As for US V3 GH006, Everything booted except for PS2 backups, DVD-r and CD-r's. The laser is fine since i adjusted it and tested a DVD-r movie and it played fine. What i noticed when booting PS2 backups either dvd-r or cd-r's, it would seem to load but kick you to the browser screen showing that it recongized the media as a PS2 game. When i hit X to read the disc, it would go to a black screen the return to the browser. Leading me to think that it is not compatible with my V3.

Sorry that i don't have time to write detail results of my tests with this chip, but this is just a head's up for those who are thinking of purchasing this clone.

i relized that Relayer has already tested the chip, but his tesing unit was a Pal V7, the one i mention was a US V7 and V3.

The more units that this chip can be tested on the better for people using this forum.

it was tested one 3 consoles not just a v7 the v7 was just posted, but anyways not to start an arguement
