About LinkBacksPS2 freezes randomly EVEN when chip is disabled with a switch?!?
even if voltage not in chip the ps2 still freezes (Sometimes on the blue ps2 screen floating balls)
The wierd thing is it takes about 20 minutes to warm up (keeps freezing) then works fine after that?!?
Any one have any ideas on this whould be greatly appreciated.
PS: the ps2 is a v7.

Thanks very much EnTiTy, will try this later, I was actually thinking that the BIOS is my LAST option but have never tried to touch the bios again. I have had grief with this for ages. PS: I take it you have come across this before then?!?
PPS: how have you been, nice to hear from you after soooo long, is charlie-ps2 still around?!?

Yes EnTiTy is the man - Its was as said Bios!!
Soldered pints from underside and soldered pins of bios chip to connect to the mboard.
All working fine now (i've been messing about with this for nearly a year now?!!? - LOL)
EnTiTy I owe u a drink once again if your ever in London
