    hi. i hear messiah 2 have problems with v6 us consoles
    i currently own a ps2...it has the info

    U400059x PT 2400059XX DATACODE 2A


    I FOUND HERE HAS A CHART SAYS IT IS A V6
    BUT ON FOUNDMY.COM IT HAS IT IS A V5 BECOZ OF ITS SERIAL Uxx PT 2XX

    could some one help me with this.

    if youre talkin about charlie's faq, did you check this?
    ** A v5/v6 PS2 can be identified by looking inside the top rim of the Expansion Bay. If there are

    three screws, two flush (brass) and one recessed in a flange (silver) then it's a v5 or v6,
    or you could check the reset connector.....but if this is what you followed, then my advice is to go with what they say.

    yes...i have checked the screws ..and it is sure to be a v5/v6
    and i followed foundmy pics it says it is a v5

    hope it is a v5 so i can install my m2 on my 30001R

    my god it is really a v6..it has B10060 on the bios info....
    hope the messiah 2 has already has solution to the problem
