Help ps2 not turning on its a v6

ok my eject ribbon ripped so i bought another one and reinstalled but when i turn it on now there is no light and nothing moves so i have another v6 and tested my powersupply it worked fine tested the cable it worked fine oh and one more thing while removing metal casing on board to check m2 i heard somethin pop

check your fuses , they usally start with P3 etc.......

Also make sure you put the Ribbon the right way on both sides , it happens a lot with replacements.

try to switch it around, also make sure you get continuity on the ribbon cable and to the ps2.

Also make sure theres no solder balls on ReSet that can cause it to short because thats were some signals are sent, correct me if im wrong.
