Help Needed (PS2 SCPH-70002)

Hi everyone,
I am kinda new to all this modding business so I need some help.
I own a PS2 slimline SCPH-70002 (V12) and I plan to mod it myself.
I also want to connect a hard drive to my console to store and play games, and to view media files.
Could anyone please suggest for me what to do. Eg. Mod Chip, hard drive software, and tutorials.

Go to a big e-shop (like modzone ) and take all the goodies you need
