Help !!! ... My PS2 is locked in 16/9 !!!

Hi guys !

I've got a PS2 locked in 16/9 mode !!!

And my TV is a 4/3 -> picture is very ... strange ! ...

I've try everything to set it to 4/3, but I can't change the setting ...

I've test it on another TV, but it's the same !!!

I don't know what to do ?!

Please help me !!!

Hi,

Have the same problem...
All my dvd's that should display fine (they are in 4:3) look stretched...

Luckily for me I can convert them to divx and play them fine on the reality mediaplayer

Dudes,
all you have to do is press stop during dvd playback. Now you can change the TV type as often as you want through your dvd setup menu.

No mem card removal or system config deletion nessessary at all.

its not that, change the output to RGB not Y/B/P. then you can change it

Interesting.
Well, my PAL unit is modded for permanent RGB output - no Y/B/P available - so how would I know... .
But anyway, you have to press stop first imo.

I've try to start with no memory card inserted ... same ...

I'll try to setup in 4:3 DVD menu ...
