    Hey, after taking a closer look, the cable that nearer to the side
    is a bit torn.
    The part that inside the metal catch, to the receving glass.
    But why is it so?
    Think must get a new laser len instead.

    I'm not vouching for this site in anyway, just offering it because they have the replacement cable.

    I'm also not saying you weren't careful, because you probably were, but these cables are VERY easy to tear if you're not careful. When you take the cd assembly apart, don't twist the cables or anything like that.
