    Hey all,

I'm about to install a mod chip on my PSone(yes laugh its for a trip but i'm a little confused. The one I ordered doesn't have the wires pre attached. I need to solder them to the chip. Do I use the same technique of soldering as on the actual PSone... That is apply a small amount to the end of the iron, and then touch the wire and solder to the chip? I'm confused (first time soldering) Anyone have advice?

    Cheers ray:

just get your wires and solder them to the big legs from the ps1 chip.. might have to heat the leg up for 3-4 seconds in order for the solder to stick

Sounds good... Another retarded question I have is do I cover each of the install points with solder completely? (Not over other areas of the board, obviously.) And also, do I peel back the wires when I solder them?

    Thanks for the help!
