Help me identify my chip?

It was said that I would be getting "the Bluechip" but I don't know,I finally found some courage and opened up my PS2 and here's the pic

Looks like a Magic 3.1 clone to me.

it could be a 3.0 clone

to test:
pop in splinter cell (first one) for ps2... boot it.. beat a level.. and try to move on.. if u get a DRE its a 3.1
if u get no DRE its a 3.0

if its a 3.0 u can install a switch and go online

btw.. that chip is not blue

by the way.. be happy you have a 30001R v5 as v4's suck.. odds are it wasnt a v4 anywyas... 30001R v4 is rather rare (i had one.. no one in the world believed it was a v4 at that time)

ic,I don't have Slinter Cell though,what's DRE?

I wont be able to go online with the 3.1?and is there a way I can do it w/o installing anything?like sleep mode?
