Someone brought me a botched duo2se in a v9 and melted the capacitor and black thingy where the S wire goes.

On the attached image in the red square is where the two missing components are missing. The black one and the brown one. What can I do to fix this for someone.

Someone said in this thread In need of SCEX Capacitor for V4 that the capacitor is not needed, but what about the black thingy (resistor I presume??) There is nothing left to even solder the wire to where the black thingy was (its been charred to the bone)

Thanx and have a happy holidays.

The black thing is a resistor - a 100k resistor to be more precise. Most electronic places should stock those. The other componenets is a capacitor - don't know what value it is though as I'm busy repairing my capacitance meter
