Hi, i recently attempted to intstall a mars 2 modchip into my PS2.. unfortunately, at one point, where i read i hate to scrape off some gold covering, i scraped too much, and now, i cant solder the point.. can anyone help me with this?

What point and what version system is it? I would first try the console without a chip. There's a good chance that by scraping a point off the mainboard you have permanently damaged the console...
