I just finished installing messiah2 to my V4 ps2. When i power up all i get is a blank screen. My eject works. I can change from stanby to ready(?). Also, when I first power up, the screeen flashes red for just an instant the goes blank, and it does this everytime I reset the PS. I have now rechecked all continuity and everything 3 times now. Any suggestions on what the problem could be would be greatly appreciated.

Where did you connect A-I? If it was on the controller the short is most likley there check with your Meter for shorts
Well, I took the mod chip out completely to see if my PS would still work w/o it. Still just a blank screen. *sigh* Oh well, guess I'm out a playstation now. BUT, at least they're $100 less nowadays if I were to buy another.
M8 you have 10000% got a short somewhere (solder ball, Solder blob etc) try to get a magnify glas to check or use a scanner and scan the ps2!!!
