Ok i have a v5 ntsc that doesnt eject. so is there a way to test the BA chips. like using a multimeter. like where do i put the leads and etc.

This is what I wrote in another post on this question.....
I have a V5 console
A way to check if the BA5815FM chip has gone is to look on top of the chip and find the dimple on top of it, that dimple denotes that pin on the chip is pin 1 and so count till you get to pin 8 on the chip (it will be the 1 after the long flat heatsink pin) which is linked directly to the fuse (PS11). Being that fuses protect the live side of things on the board this pin shouldnt be earthing to ground so take a multimeter select the 'continuity' reading on it and place one of the probes on pin 8 and the other to ground on the board, if the meter shows continuity or beeps meaning continuity then the chip has shorted. You can purchase a new BA5815 chip but the BA6664FM are much harder to find.
