I have a ps2 with a neo 4.1 in it and it worked fine for months but now it reads the cd and knows that it is in there but when it goes to actually load the game it doesnt. It will only play music cds. Everything else fails when loading. Does anyone know what the problem could be. I am pretty sure that there isnt a problem with the laser because like i said it reads the disc and in the browser it says what kind of disc it is but it wont load anything but music cds.
have you tried cleaning it?
What do you mean, if you mean have i cleaned the laser lens then no because i dont know how
LOL. Go to a store and buy something called a 'lense cleaner CD'. Place disc in Ps2. Follow the nice voices instructions as it plays. Listen to some elevator music and your done.
how exactly would i go about checking for the loose points like were would they be and how do i fix them
