About LinkBacksI just bought a Magic V 5k6 for V10 PS2 but i realised I own a V9 ps2. I cannot return the modchip so is there anyway i can install this chip on my V9 PS2? or is this chip completly useless to me.

11-02-2004,09:03 AMI think the 5k6+ was able to be installed in a v9. The only way is to isntall it and try out or comfirm u have the chip that works on both...

11-02-2004,11:23 AMI have a Magic V clone.. it works in V9s and V10s. Just follow the instructions for the V9.

I know for a fact that it is not 5k6+ because that 1 has 2 check marks on the chip where as mine only has 1. And im kinda scared to try it on my ps2 as i only have 1...lol. Also the motherboards r completly different from V9 to V10. This is how i found out my dilemma. My PS2 is a SCPH-50010 if this is any help.
