Heellllppp, this prob is driving me nuts

I used magic 3 chip with scph 3001 r, the first problem was , it can't run cd but dvd backup went okay, so I go to one of the local store to fix it, after he fixed it, the cd backup run perfect, but not the dvd backup, then I bring it again to the store, the technician there fixed it up one more time, in his shop both cdr and dvdr went fine, and after 1 week, my unit went wrong again, it runs CD but not DVD backup, I noticed this prob occurs only when I start using HD on my ps2, and become permanent, even after I removed the HD, what's the real prob with my unit
