heeeelllpppp!!!!!! i've allmost killed my ps2
well on a DMS3 installation gone bad i half killed my ps2, when i turned it on i got a black screen, so i decided to give on the dms3 and take it off.
After i took it off, i tried the PS2 and it turned on as usual but the initial settings screen showed up, I said ok the baterry was off maybe its suppose to do so, so i went in there and set everything up, went into explorer and said no DATA not even my mem card was recognised, disc didn't even spin, i went into the Version screen and it showed me a wierd version number on my console, shit now i am screwed.
So i went and open my ps2 again found out i have completely removed the little orange cilinder where point X is supposed to be soldered, so i resoldered back again very carefully, turned my ps2 on again and bingo version identified as 35001 wich is what i got, game boots BUT only for 10 - 15 seconds then they hang and i got to reset the system but when i do i get the initial config sceen and disc won't spin again again
anyways, anyone know what might be wrong??? i am getting very frustrated by all this and starting to think of getting a new system but i really don't have the $ to do so atm.
and sorry for the long post.
