Hdd network adapter ?

Anyone know can JAP ps2 use USA network adapter ?
Its kinda hard to find JAP ps2 adapter with reasonable price.

Read some of the other threads in this section regarding the differences for the HDD between models.

To answer your question: Yes and No. The hardware is the same accross the board for every model. It's just the drivers you have to worry about. Because you have a JAP PS2, you'll need to load the JAP drivers for it.

However, theoretically it should work with certain games which has the drivers pre-built into them like SOCOM.

The only other difference you'd be missing out on is the HD if you got the USA version. They still haven't released the HD for it yet, only the Network Adapter, whereas in Japan, you get both.

Jap Drivers... i think you can get those to ur memory card using the PlanetWeb browser, if u go into settings
