hdd for later jap models

I want to know if the JAP 30000 hd works on later models because I want to get Xenosaga and Beatmania IIDX 5th Style and they require the hard drive for special content. I'm getting a SCPH-37000 L model which has the expansion bay. Any replies would be great.

Many stores would say that it only works on 30000 and 35000 models only.

I'm assuming they would because the structure of the device hasn't changed in any of the newer models.....just the m/b design.

In any case, the JP Playstation site only has the 1 expansion bay type for sale.

I'll buy a hdd for 35000/30000 models. I'll test it in a jap 37000 L Ocean Blue Model. Just wait 2 months.

LOL! I don't think you'll need to worry about it. If it had changed, there would be more models up for sale. Just to satisfy your curiousity, check this page out. http://www.scei.co.jp/psbb/03_1.html. This clearly states that all SCPH-30000, SCPH-35000GT, SCPH-37000L, and SCPH-37000B will work. Assuming that they are backwards compatible, I would say that the 36000 series are a go as well.
