HDD and Final Fantasy XI

Ok im on ebay and i've been looking to buy this, but i have a chance to buy the game brand new with serial codes, and get the HDD software, im wondering it i cracked a certain sumthing on the disc i think we know what im talkin about

not gonna mention it for obvioud reasoning, do u think it would work on an ordinary drive or with the public HDD tool's just wondering if it's even worth paying for it.

ffxi is not going to work on an ordinary drive no matter what you do. DNAS has to authenticate the hardware and that aint gonna happen..
