Have the Messiah 2 people thought about Region Free and Macro off?

They are thinking about Region Free (no commitment).

Macrovision has not been discussed by me with them. So I can't comment other than to opine that I doubt they have that on their plan.

Messiah is a gaming chip that enables everything to boot universally across the PS2 range (subject to the odd tweak here and there) and it's only current rivals are a price proposition not a performance proposition.

DMS3 will be an interesting challenge for Messiah 2.

i like dms3 but its a bit on the expensive side almost as double as m2 so i dunno if its worth buying or selling

The main thing is is the DMS3 going to do all region via mem card (like divx player?!?!) or is it going to do it via hardware?!!?!?

If its going to do it via mem car ie load the chan tech or dvd region x into mem card then its NOT too different to messiah 2 anyway?!?!?

yes but is it coded or is just via memcard??!, because the divx player is NOT coded you need to upload the ps2reality disk into the memcard!!!!!

Can't the M2 team pull the code off of the simple PIC12508 chips? There is code floating around somewhere that you can program a PIC12508 with it and install it to a PS2 to remove Macrovision. Region free can be accomplished through a Gameshark 2 or higher.

the messiah1 was ready to have a eeprom on it but them they didnt make room on messiah2

it's hard to beleive they didnt consider the region free and macrovision in the design of messiah2

maybe there is a good reason for not to do it

because its purely a gaming mod not to support other fuctions its main goal was to sevre you im the gaming department to give you the best quality ever in gaming
