Has anyone suceessfully installed a magic 3.1 on V1 gh-004 with Gap bios 010 ?
There is no actually install diagram for this model. Use points from V2 gh-004 with nongap bios but that does not seens to work. Didn't use the s point as removing solder to seperate the board was too hard. Use the alternative s point for messiah 2 install. Wonder if the original s point should be used or not?
Orginal DVD / CD works.
Imports / DVDR /CDR gets RSOD.

I did before! I use Magic 3 GH-004 non gap bios diagram. All the part are the same except the bios. But if you compare the bios part with a v4 gap bios diagram. You can easy figure out the gap bios points. and also please remember. The R point on the original GH-004 non gap bios diagram is wrong!
Tried Messiah 2 pro 1.22a and still this version gh-004 gap bios 010 still will not work. Installed using foundmy diagram with alternative CLK & S point and R points on bios chip.
Wondering if this gap bios 010 gh-004 can't be installed at all.

Thanks Sioivo. Looks like you did successfully installed a magic 3.1 on this PS2 version. Hmm.... well tried again with the magic 3.1 red Board again.
Just want to reconfirmed again. Did you use the non-gap or gap hook for the M-V points. thnaks
About the bios part. Actually I just take a look on Magic 3.1 v4 gap bios diagram and compare the gap bios part. They are the same! M,N,O,P,Q,T,U,V,R~~~
or u can look on M2 Pro Diagram. The bios part is the same too. Also M,N,O,P,Q,T,U,V,R~~~
