Happy Modchip?

Just got an unlabled blue modchip that has a happy face on the back of it. I know it's a probably a clone. It also has 8 diodes on it. Are there chips with diode fix built in?

It's a BlueChip. Stil not sure if it's a clone but it's definitely blue.. well turqoise... bluegreen.. damnit where's my camera.

Just installed it in a V7 today with colorfix and now it won't read any games at all, original or backup. I was going to ask for help but just accidentally bumped off a surface mount component off the chip. So it's time to get an Infinity. Why do I bother with anything else? I've never have problems with Matrix Infinity.

EDIT:
Just removed the BlueChip and did a short wire MI install and everything works perfectly.
