I have a v10 ntsc ps2 and I just installed the chip, all points are good but when I tiurn the power on The eject button just blinks. My question is, in the diagram it says to use all points except j&k but there is another point that is not being used point "A" do I use this or do I check for some other issue. How thick of a guage wire does GND and 5V have to be?

I think have bridge in the cd/dvd controller or in the alt points .
Check with a multimeter the points.

Says here that there's an 'A' connection for Version 10.
I'd probably go with the 'A' connection point from the Crystal diagram for Ver10.
Same point on the Magic 5K6.

    Cheers,

nope that doesn't work, I just get a scrambled picture when I use that "A" point. What gauge of wire should I use for the GND and 5V is 30 too fine?

    this is the A point
30 is fine for ground and power if very short otherwise go thicker to around 22
