H20 problem with v9 –
well after installing h20 in v9 console... going to test and backups not booting i checked all connections and everything was ok... after 1 night checking all the wires and testing still nothing, so i decided to install matrix infinity ... the only thing i had to do was remove Z wire and put Y wire in infinity.. ehehheeh i forgot to change voltage so disc was spinning really fast so again changed voltage from 5v to 3,3v and voilá V9 working like a charm... with same solders etc etc etc so really don´t know why this problem happened the only thing possible is Z wire but solder was good also wire was good ... is schematics V9 correct for H20??? Z wire is next to RST ???? or is it in Y wire like infinity???
i have personally found the H20 to be very unreliable in anything other than the V12-13
They seem to be reliable with v12-13 but just not v14.
My last batch of H2O have many NON WORKING modchips.
I thing your mod is bad
I just installed the H2O in a V9 and it worked fine. Check your install!
To those having trouble with the H2O in V14/V15 "A" model consoles... if you bought the chips straight from the distributor, contact him... you might get a pleasant surprise!
I suppose maybe your chip is bad (I'm not sure but I know the V9 I put an H2O in yesterday worked 100%)
The diagram is correct, or at least it was for me. If you have an SX flasher around you could try flashing in the v112a50M.hex code (doesn't have DEV support but doesn't require the TR wire that isn't labelled on the H2O chips). This is just in case the chip is somehow blank (I don't see why it would be, but I guess anything I possible...)
Use the same diagram as the H2O chip diagram.
