Hi
This is the first time I'm going to chip a PS2(have had some experience with Xbox) so i don't really know what resistors needed for the v12 fix.
My H20 modchip came today but to my surprise it arrived without the 2 resistors(2k ohm & 560 ohm), instead it came with a small chip/resistor(?) you see on xbox motherboards(?) typed 202 on. I guess If the pstwo I buy is a V12 I need to order the resistors separate from a differerent store?.
could someone please post a pic how these resistors are supposed to look like?
Ive been using a 12W antex with 0.5mm tip for xbox modding but I guess I'll have to change to 0.12mm since the components on the PSTWO are smaller?

The resistor you've been supplied is a 2k resistor, use if your PSTwo laser resistors are 683.
If they read 303 you need a 560 ohm resistor, there are heaps of pics of the install thru this forum.

thx for the reply, how do you know that it's a 2k resistor?
Also I just bought some 3W 5% 560Ohm resistors I guess this are okay?!
