Seems wbestores have this chip in stock by now. Any idea if there are flash updates available to make it possible to play backups yet?

I have read the thread, but don´t get the whole point. Is the "legal thing" just a disguise and will the chip boot backups with it´s current flash. Sorry, but that thread makes me dizzy.
