is ghost 2 any good?

i am interested in ghost 2 chip, but it seems like very unpopular here. ghost 2 seems like the ultimate mod chip for a ps2 as it offers rare features like online gaming.

anyone likes to share the experiences with ghost 2?

btw, where do you recommend me to buy a mod chip? (i am in us)

Ghost2 are better then Crystal chips, MI and specially DMS4 and clones. No need to install anything to you MC. it has its own memory build in. 110% boot rate. its hard to get them since people dont really buy them alot.

I have had no problems with my Crystal Chip 1.1 nor my DMS4 Pro. BUT my Crystal Chip 1.1 auto-patches for online play!

I have installed a few of these, sometimes the firmwares a bitch to upgrade. Blank eeprom needs 5 taps from boot, which has caused me numerous problems.

Once the firmware is finally in , the chip is great though.

because i have never done any soldering of this small size, i am wondering ghost2 is less pron to less than perfect soldering job (i heard dms4 is very picky)
