    Hi Guys,

    I have a (what i think it is) a V12 with a GH-032-64 number on the mainboard, i always install a summone fix but on this board the tracking coils have these following values :
    RST= O1D
    RSF = 303
    So my question is, is this a V12 or a V13 and do i need to apply the summone fix or not, and which resistors should i use ?

    greetzzz

    some later released v12 has 01D resistors on tracking channel as well. i have experienced coil burn with v12 that has 01D resistors. you are only safe if the board has sony fix (see attachment). the boards with this fix are v13(SCPH-700XX) or v14/V15/V16 (SCPH-7500X)

    The 01D resistors use a 4.7k resistor, IIRC. I've always installed it since, as far as I can tell, the worst it does is make read performance a little poorer. Never had a 01D laser blow up yet...
