    This will probably show how little I know but how do you know if you have a gap/ no gap bios?
    I think my ps2 is:
    USA SCPH 35001, GT3 Edition = Version 4
    u6* w/ 8 screws = v4 (PT16*******) (U60 030 BIOS datecode 1B 35001)

    The grounded pins on the bios chip (as shown in the pic), are they true for all bios'? I mean, are the same pins grounded on a v5 for example?
