game freezes

hey i have a apple pro in a v5 ps2 and when i play madden 2004 sometimes the game freezes...it wasn't doing this a few weeks back...do you think the laser is dirty...if so do i need to get a dvd cleaner disc since i dont want to open it and use rubbing alchol? i mean not all my games are freezing but are playing a little slower than usual...thanks

people are going to laugh there arse's off here but do you have and under arm deoderant and and earbud if not ask the mrs you smelly sod

dissasemble the ps2 and remove the laser housing lid the rest is pretty self explained spray the ear bud use one end to clean the lense and a dry one or the other clean end to dry it.

use toothpaste on any mark's on the disc keep rubbing and wiping until they dissapear the simple ide's are the best and WORK i use them.

underarm deoderant contains methyl a quick evaporating liquid.

tooth paste will remove the deepest scratch plenty of elbow grease needed the disc will look like NEW toothpaste is a fine grade abrasive and the reason it leaves your teeth smooth and free of plaque laugh all you want it works

Yes you need a cleaning disc if you don't want to open up your ps2. I personally got me one of these

lol i wouldnt use under arm deorderant on the lense.. just use plain old rubbing alcohol.. but dont the qtip to wet, just moist.. use one end to clean and the other end to buff the lense... make there isnt any tiny strands of cotton left on the lense..

he he it works i have 100% rate on fixing lasers ;P any laser i wil strip them down to the bare bollocks if need be to clean the mirrir also simple test spray deoderant on a window and then add steam condensation does not form and you can still see through the window same principle applys for the optical lense :P
+ it smells nice thats the base of deoderant alcohol.

or just get some canned air to remove any dust grease does need a form of alcohol to be removed.

oh forgot to add avoid cleaning disc's the lense is plastic and is easy to scratch the brush's on cleaning disc do a rather good job scratching the lense up

ok thanks i used rubbing alchol...i dind't know it was really simple....wow thanks a lot saved me like 10 bucks too...lol now games work flawlessly thanks again
