Follow Up to Romeo on a V7
Well as some of you may have seen (http://www.ps2newz.net/forums/showth...270#post236270) I asked about a Romeo fix for the V7. No one quite said you could do it or not, but i installed a brand new BA and killed it in about 2 hours. It took about 1 1/2 to test and get the solder points just right, but it ended up frying again.. I now have another BA on it's way, so can anyone give advice on how to prevent a dead BA on a V7? Keep in mind, i dont use crappy media (someone already thought that may have been my problem). ANyone's input would help greatly!! thanks!
Is it possible that it is over heating to the excessive heat from the soldering iron on all of the legs?? Should i maybe solder one leg at a time and give it time to cool before i move on?
