    i do repair alot of machines .... machine not chipped.... lens reactions are normal ... but stuck on the focus point... cd spin normally....but im stuck on the browser .... checked the BA ... everything is fine ... and i tried 4 new lens .... only one succesfull boot after several test on each 4 lens
    not the first machine i see whit this problem..!!

    any ideas?

    does the laser move up and down on the rails ?

    ok sorry.... not moving up and down cd keeps spinning ... regular speed .... stuck on focus point

    DO this. eject the tray and turn off ps2. take off dvd drive cover and push laser to top. Leave the cover off with no game. Watch to see if the laser moves at all.

    i already did what you told me... the lens is reacting normally. if you got some more ideas reply back.
