    Back in the old days, the PS I era, we have something called the "Flasher CD", either by Naitachal, or by Tim, I wonder is there something like that for the AR2

    That means is easier to "upgrade" ur ar, just replace the old CD, am I right ?

    With the Xplorer cart you flashed it for the reason of updating the ROM (version) or if your XP had became corrupted some how eg. uploading the wrong ROM to it (Im sure this is the same with AR). So with the PS2 AR2 being on CD its not going to become corrupted unless you scratch the disk. You cant upgrade the version/ROM of it because you can't change contents of a pressed/burn't CD (unless it's a CD-RW ) so you can't flash it.

    In other words yeh, you might aswell just buy a newer version of the AR
