Fixing blob of solder without luck
Fixing blob of solder without luck –
A guy came with a PS2 (for fixing - black screen) who someone attempted to install a chip (every point had a visible point of solder) and an "inmense" blob of solder between 4 and 5 bios' legs.
I've been cleaning the legs for 2 hours, and I swear there's no visible link between them, but the voltimeter says it exists...
Any way you could suggest to perfect clean the area?
Thanks a lot!
The volt meter will give a slight reading even if there is no bridges on the legs. If you test the other legs that you are sure have no sodler on them, it will give you a slight reading.
The problem is that the legs makes the "continuity" sound. It hasn't nothing to do with readings
