Firmware/BM question, urgent!

Hey. My installer said that the Crystal is going to come with the latest r19 hacked firmware. I'm guessing he has Bootmanager installed on a memory card of his (you can only update the firmware through bootmanager, right?). My question is, if I have a the latest firmware (r19 hacked) on my Crystal 1.2 already, can I still install Bootmanager?

I not sure I follow your question though because if you already have the latest firmware(hacked) why you wannto now if you can update it through BM? And how does that affect if you can install BM? because the bootmanager goes on the memcard and not onboard of the chip on it's flash.

You definitely don't need the BM at all to install a new firmware. You just boot the update disc with or without BM and the update program starts.
