Better tape or hot glue those wires. If they bend and touch each other, you might run into some problems.
yeah i already used double sided foam tape to secure the wires to the board ...

the only points i have left now are the SCEx, PWR, and GND ... In some of the install pictures i've seen people make a little solder pad on the long, brownish plate at edge of the motherboard and hook up the ground wire to it .. So all of this part is ground and I can solder the ground wire to anywhere on this brown plate thing ?
also the duo2se diagram for v9 ps2s shows the PWR point at the far bottom, right corner of the motherboard .. the chips location will be the left corner of the motherboard and I want to know of any alternative PWR points that I could use for my installation...
Show us a pic of the front of your board ill show you a good place to solder pwr and ground.Originally Posted by prolific

let me know if you need to see more to the left or upwards
i didn't think of this before but i might have a hard time striping the wire ends that will connect to the modchip now that i risk pulling the wires out of the solder spot on the mobo if i pull to hard ..![]()

thanks ... and that long, brown strip at the bottom, all of that is ground right ?
Yes. Just scratch it a little with a razor and apply flux. Then add solder and it should stick like glue to that part.
