Fan from V9 in to V7 ???

Hi,

i was wondering if it's possible to place the cooling fan of a V9 PS2 in to a V7 console ???
And will i have the same low noise production as in the V9 ?

I havent tried it, but I dont see why it wouldent. I dont think the fans are version specific. But im not sure I do know the conections are the same.
