Hey All. I am an experienced modder. I just put a Magic V into a V7. I am having troubles with it loading a copy of LOTR. Sitting at the bench I noticed that the fan on this PS2 seems to increase rpm in about 2 second bursts. This particular LOTR game did load on this machine at one point but froze part way through the cut scenes in the beginning and since will not load at all. I know that it could be the copy but still does not explain the rpm increase. Is it possible that a bad 3.3v may cause this rpm issue. perhaps an alt 3.3v could be shown to me. Or maybe this noise is normal I have just never noticed before.
