    Hi

I just clicked on your profile then clicked e-mail and posted the link to that address.

Just be very careful when you remove the old chip as it's very very easy to remove the pads that the chip is connected to. If you remove them then you're really up the creek without a paddle.

If you didn't get the link then e-mail me and I will send it to you, or I guess I could post it here. I don't think it woul dbreak any rules, would it?

Hey i had the same proplem. It was the PS14 fuse that regulates 3.4v, something may have been bridged during the installation that caused it to blow out.

check that one its located at the center of the board, im almost sure its it.

Hello, shouldn't be a problem posting the link here, I posted the link to the BA6664FM a while ago without any problems. If you could post it I and many others I'm sure will appreciate it.

    Thanks

I tried looking for the PS14 fuse on the V5 board but there appears to be no such fuse, not sure if that particular fuse is unique to the V7 board???...if such a fuse exists for the V5 could someone point me in the right direction as to where it is.

    Thanks

In all seriousness there's been a massive amount of Magic3 installations gone bad lol. I am no exception after a botched install... Might have fried my bios but Gaz reckons one of my fuses has blown.

Everything turns on, lights and all, cd spin etc etc, just getting a blank screen.

    Yeah I looked for a PS14 as well, but I couldn't find it. I think your right PS2Meister, it's only on V7.

Thanks for the link. Looked for the chips on the site, couldn't see them, did you have to call them direct?

    Cheers
