    Hey,

I tried to install a Magic 3.6 (3.1 with clip-kit) on my v3 PS2. The installation must have failed because the PS2 acted exactly as there where no mod-chip installed. I have seen some posts about the clip-kit being crap and that one should solder the cables directly to the bios. So, I thought I would try that... Because the Magic 3.6 is really a 3.1 then the diagrams for version 3.1 should also apply for the 3.6 right? Looking att the diagrams for a v3 it looks like I don't have to solder directly to the bios. There seems to be solder points on the front of the motherboard, the ones that are in a straight line. So, does anyone know if I can use these points?

    Cheers
