    in the modchip diagram thread, someone provided F points for the MI to read dvd-rw. where is the F point on this chip? am i blind or its just not labeled.

    i only plan on using dvd-rw's for firmware updates and installing stuff to mem card.

    Just use a cd-rw. The F point isn't needed to read cd-rw, only for dvd+-rw

    my bad, i meant cd-rw for firmware updates and such. i just thought that the MI needed that point soldered to read cd-rw as well.
    guess not. thank you for clearing that up for me.
