To Everyone Who Has A No Solder Chip W/magic Discs –

I just got my V6 PS2 hooked up with the no solder modchip which came with 2 Swap Magic Disc's. Now when I tried the booting sequence for DVD based import or backup it won't load. All I get is the screen with please insert disc with an outline of pink on the sides. If anyone knows if this modification does not allow ORIGINAL IMPORTS TO PLAY please tell me or if they have any information as to what I maybe doing wrong please help me out. Also would the GS2/AR2 be better than the Magic Disc's? Please anyone help me!!
Thanks

I bought the NO SOLDER CHIP BECAUSE THE SITE SELLING IT SAID IT COULD PLAY IMPORTS. Yey stuck with a no solder chip and disc's that have no use until I get my next check to buy a DVD burner. Even then I still have to learn how to burn those damn DVD-R and the difference between +r and -r. SHEESH feels like school......oh well
thanks guys
