    hi

fitted a h20 5v to a v12 pal tested and all working great.

i then applied summ0nes resistor fix (a 560 resistor to the two 303's) like i have done on a few v12's with no problem. tried it and it wouldn't boot just spins as if trying to read.

i thought it'd be my install of the resistor so removed it tried a backup and it booted. i've reapplied and removed it about 8 times now and still the same thing.

if summ0nes is applied it won't boot, as soon as i remove it it boots fine

any ideas of anything i can do?? what are the chances of the laser burning out if i don't apply??

may be wrong but the h2o has built in fixes and you putting the sommeone fix in may be acting against it
