looks like some team figured out how to make the ea spin down method work on the v5/v6 ps2 mother boards

you have to left the 2 pins on the BA chip and solder 2 wires off the lefted BA pins and solder another 2 wires under the lefted pins on the motherboard

once you have soldered the 2 wires off the lefted BA pins you solder them to the 2.2 you then get 3 resistors you nedd to the same value and the 3rd is different which is used later on

as i was saying get 2 resistor the same value which are
2 resistors of the same value :102 =1k
colors are brown black red gold

you then solder 2 pin 5 and 6 on 2.2 after you have soldered the resisotrs you then get the other 2 wires off the motherboard under the lefted BA pins and solder to the other side of the resisotr

ok now for the 3rd resisitor you need 1, 104 =10k
brown ,black ,orange ,gold and solder to pin 2 of 2.2 then solder another off the other side of the resisitor to the brown square capacitor on the motherboard (in the same place where the BA chip is) you oly need to solder one wire for pin 3, but pins 5/6 require 4 wires

well i have a picture to show you, note: you dont have to use the same resisitors as the pic has provided, radioshack sell the old fashion type

i have included a picture of it

enjoy, and let know how it works

    cheers

p.s if someone could make this sticky it would be good
