DVD's not playing, Messiah2 V3

Does anyone know why my dvd films won't play.

I've tried the various boot methods for the messiah2 but although cdr, dvdr, cd and dvd games all run fine, movies will not.

hold reset down until eject light comes on. Then release reset button, this will set it to PSX/DVD mode. Should boot fine then.

u have to turn it to ps1 mode, which is also DVD movie mode
