Dvd-rw?

I just replaced my V5 + messiah with a V10+DMS3+.
With my V5 I had no problems reading DVD-RW and budget DVD-R, but now with the V10 I can't read DVD-RW (Verbatim and Pioneer media) and it's very hard to get it to read budget DVD-R and even brand name DVD-R.

Could it be something with the installation of DMS3 or is the laser just that bad?

I believe there is an extra point that needs to be soldered to the modchip on V8-11 motherboards so that DVD-RW works. Maybe you didn't solder it?

I didn't install it myself. Maybe would have been better...

Gonna call the company tomorrow and check what they did...
