dvd-r read ok ... dvd movies not ???

ok ... i'm confused.

my V7 magic2 plays ALL of my DVD-R games no prob.

However, recently I tried playing a factory pressed DVD movie, and the PS2 just doesn't want to recognize it (simply goes to the browser).

what's up with that???

i've tried two different movie DVDs ... same thing.

any help would be great.

Are you booting correctly? Hold reset until the blue eject light comes on.
