dvd player not set up

I just removed a magic 3.1 chip that was causing problems from a V7 PS2 and installed a messiah2 1.33b instead.
everything works fine, except "DVDPLAYER NOT SET UP" appears when trying to play a DVD

Any ideas?

a short on the bios or cd/dvd controller it's corrupted the dvdplayer check in browser if no driver revision is there thats the problem.
