    Ive installed a duo 2 in the ps2 it was working fine. I didnt use it for about a month now all of a sudden it doesent read anything brand new v9 is it most likely a mos prob or dvd drive problem. I checked for joints nothing multitested all seems good? Thanx in Advance

    What do you mean when saying it does not read anything ? Browser and nothing else ? This sounds like a V9/V10 syndrome... check the coils, and well if those are done then prepare for spending some cash on repairing this console...

    it reaches the browser screen but doesent get rsod but when i click browser disc read error message.

    Well, there are some threads about it. You should check this page aswell http://cyber-mag.com/station/laserV9.htm. as it really seems to be the v9 syndrome.

    Yes, sounds like it. Same thing happened to me, discs would keep on spinning without doing anything.
